Dakota Lake serves as the Executive Director of Discovery Village Clear Lake. The years of senior living and care experience he brings with him come from his involvement in many different leadership roles in the senior living industry. Dakota operates on the personal philosophy of “Count on Me,” always going above and beyond to be readily available to the staff, families and residents in the community as well as ensuring they are receiving the absolute highest standard of care. He prides himself on listening and acting with compassion and empathy when aiding new residents with their decision to move in and being hands on in the community to guarantee the absolute comfort of the residents and confidence of their families. Prior to senior living, Dakota obtained his Bachelors of Science from Eastern New Mexico University, where he was a member of the Greyhound Football Team. He is a native of Sealy, Texas and currently resides in the Pearland area with his wife and young daughter. In his time outside of work, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his family.
