Vikki Clyburn, Executive Director
Vikki Clyburn began her career in senior living in the late 1970s as a caregiver in a skilled nursing home. It was during this time that she discovered a deep passion for senior care, which prompted her to become a certified aide and medication aide before advancing to nursing school. Despite exploring roles in hospital nursing and physician offices, Vikki consistently returned to their true calling: caring for seniors. After relocating to League City in 1995, Vikki took on the role of Resident Care Director at an assisted living community. Her dedication and skill led her to a similar position at another community, and in 2006, she transitioned into leadership as an Executive Director. This move from clinical work to administration allowed Vikki to expand herr expertise in both operational and administrative aspects of senior living. Outside of work, Vikki enjoys gardening, spending time with her two dogs, and reading. She also loves traveling and frequently takes road trips to visit family in Oklahoma and Arkansas. With extensive experience in both clinical and operational roles, Vikki brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as Executive Director at Discovery Village Clear Lake. She is honored to serve the residents, family members, and associates at Discovery Village, where her commitment to exceptional care continues to make a meaningful impact.
